Today I worked on a laptop case for a client. She wanted something unisex (her husband will use it too) and a bit interesting.
Hopefully age still wants it, cause I’m nearly done!

Tonight I wanted to practice my free motion quilting.
On the left I’m pretending the blue is houses etc I’ve applicaed on. So I quilting around the houses.
On the right I pretended the tree had been applicaed on and that I was quilting over the applicae.

Today I made the January craft from my ebook (http://lifesvisualjournal.com/ebooks).
We filmed it, so tomorrow I’ll be editing it all and I should be able to post it on the weekend!

Today I used my new machine to try free motion quilting! I’m pretty proud of my results, for my first try and all!
Also, for the record, it’s meant to gave that messy/sketched look about. I need to look up exactly what the style of free motion quilting is called…
4/1/11 Today I bought a new sewing machine and had a play around with some free motion quilting. So awesome!
I also went to craft, so worked on my stitching. :-)

Today I started reading ‘how to have creative ideas’ by Edward De Bono. It’s a series of exercises you do to help you learn to be a more creative thinker.
I did the first one today.

Today I put together a chart for my 12 week challenge. I have to spend time with God, say positive words to Luke, eat properly and exercise each day.
The chart isn’t super fancy, but hey, it’s a start!
In case you didn’t guess, I’m on a ‘365’ hiatus. I’m still doing crafty stuff, but have forgotten to take pictures etc. I might do a little recap come January.
Speaking of January, I hope that this hiatus will end on Jan 1! Wish me luck!
